Natural disaster
Employee’s primary residence or property is severely damaged, destroyed or rendered unlivable by a localized natural disaster (fire, flood, tornado, hurricane, ice/wind/snowstorm, mudslide, etc.) or federally/state-declared natural disaster or terrorist attack, or employee is displaced from home and forced to pay for alternative housing.
Qualifying expense
- Uninsured/underinsured needed repairs to primary residence or property
- Security deposit (or other move in fees) to move into a new residence
- Emergency housing (if needed)
- Past due rent or mortgage
- Past due basic utilities
- Food
- Necessary items lost due to event
- Necessary transportation lost or inoperable due to event
Required documentation
- Insurance report of damages or current insurance declaration page for residence or transportation
- Proof of deductible amount from insurance company for residence or transportation for residence or transportation
- Insurance decision (e.g., amount awarded by insurance, denial of coverage) for residence or transportation
- Itemized contractor / auto repair quote showing amount needed to make repairs to primary residence or transportation
- Fire report from local fire department or other proof of fire
- Provide images showing the damage to your primary residence or transportation and proof of ownership or occupancy.
- Copy of past due bills if applicable.
- Copy of grocery/food receipts if applicable.
*PLEASE NOTE: Without the following minimum required documents listed below, we will not be able to assist.
- Statement from community organization assisting employee (e.g., American Red Cross, fire/police department, shelter, etc.)
- Provide images showing the damage to your primary residence or property and proof of ownership or occupancy.
- Copy of past due bills (if needed).
- Copy of grocery/food receipts (if needed).
- Emergency housing receipts (if needed).
