Mission Statement
The Anywhere Disaster Relief Fund ("ADRF") was created by the Anywhere Gives, a 501 (c)(3) public charity incorporated Delaware. The goal of this fund is to assist individuals affected by federally declared major disasters. Applicants must be either an Anywhere employee or affiliated with an Anywhere franchised or company-owned real estate brokerage office (e.g., as a broker, sales agent or employee). Applications will be reviewed by an independent committee who will determine all grant funding decisions.
Eligibility Requirements
For an application to be considered, the applicant must reside in an area declared a major disaster within the current calendar year by the federal government and suffered damage within the stated scope of loss noted below.
Scope of Loss for Grant Consideration
This campaign will issue grants to individuals impacted for the following losses:
- Damage to the principal residence
- If rented, temporary housing/storage considered
- Damage to, or Loss of contents in, principal residence.
- Only non-perishable contents
- Damage or Loss of principle vehicle.
Items Not Considered for Grant
The Committee will not consider the following:
- Loss of income or commissions due to disaster
- Losses incurred to properties or investments beyond primary residence
- Landscaping, such as fencing, docks, pools or felled trees
- Spoilage of perishable items
- Multiple applications from same household (even if both parties are affiliated with Anywhere)
Grant Process
All requests for assistance must be submitted online through this website with requested documents attached.
Attachments should include:
- Proof of ownership, of home and or automobile, primary residence and automobile only – please do not include income or rental properties
- Copy of insurance declaration page (Home and/or Auto)
- Photos of the damaged home or automobile. Including contents -interior damage of home
- Estimates of repair, either from Insurance carrier or contractor
- Correspondence from FEMA (Either approved or declined) if applicable
Applications will be reviewed as received. If the Committee needs additional information, they will contact the applicant directly.
Confidentiality
All information provided on this form will remain confidential and will be available only to those who need to confirm eligibility for assistance and to those who process the grant to be provided.
Disbursement of Funds
All grants are contingent upon the availability of funds from the Anywhere Disaster Relief Fund.
